SENTRY SPAM YES!!!! *loves their suits* ♥

Do this. Prove yourselves. Prove yourselves to me! Be loyal to me, and I— WILL NEVER BETRAY YOU! ♥

U know, I’ve always wondered about that. If he’s already repurposed everyone, why does Clu need to do his whole motivational speech thing?

Because he ~loves them~, sheesh! ♥ ♥ ♥

(seriously though, my head-canon is that they’re highly regimented but not mindless, much like human soldiers — you can see two of them making out with hot Grid women in the End of Line when Sam first comes in, so they’re obviously alive underneath those copypasta helmets.)

lololol

True, I agree there are variations, though the typical examples of Black Guard (the ones in the photo, the one that Kevin messed with in front of the flyer, the ones that tried to defend Clu’s command center from Sam when he went to Quorra) don’t really leave me a lot of confidence in their autonomy.

But more to your point, I guess it’s true that one can still inspire troops to fight better/more bravely even if they’ve been brainwashed! I guess Tron’s the ultimate example of that. :P

Also, infiniteviking: laaawwwwwwl. That is true. Clu not-pontificating would be an odd Clu indeed.

spicer-motherfucking-lovejoy: I sense drabbles and fic on that line of thought hovering in the future…
