unknownskywalker: F-16 Break Away & Flareby fighterpilot Haha, it was nowhere on the same level as this, but this reminds me of the first aerial photographs I had taken of Insitu’s first UAV model. Up until that point, we had only had photographs of them on the ground, and so I convinced one of the many pilots in the company to take me up with them in their 2-seater Cub. I was literally hanging half out of the plane with my Nikon snapping photos of the UAV flying along by its lonesome a few hundred feet ahead of us with my longest lens. As far as I know, some of those photos are still in use today (albeit partly only as historical documentary types rather than current marketing materials).
